Making the impossible possible.
Who we are and why we’re here.
“Karma is not a punishment but a teacher: every challenge is an opportunity to grow.”
That sentence is not a slogan. It’s what we lived through ourselves.
We are a group of software developers who one day found ourselves with our backs against the wall. A close-knit team, with almost thirty years of experience in management software for the automotive industry, that suddenly had to start again from scratch.
We could have stopped. We could each have gone our own way. Instead, we chose to stay together and do the one thing we do really well: build software that works.
That’s how Karma Software was born.
We’re not a startup born in a garage with a brilliant idea. We’re people with code on our hands, who know body shops and garages because we’ve worked side by side with them for a lifetime. We know what it means to lose an estimate because the software crashed. We know what it means to chase a supplier on the phone with a badly printed Excel sheet. And we know how much time is wasted every day on old, clunky software designed by people who have never set foot in a workshop.
KARS was born to solve exactly these problems. Not to add new ones.
Our team blends the experience of the founders — people who saw the birth of, and in some cases helped create, the first body shop management systems with the tools of their time — with the energy of young developers who joined us bringing fresh ideas, modern technologies and a burning desire to do things right. Fulvio steers the ship with a clear vision: to create something to be proud of. Mary, after 25 years in the industry, now runs our Marketing and Contact Center with the same passion as on day one. Fabrizio, Marco and Giovanni, our senior engineers, are the technical heart of KARS: experience, rigour and that touch of perfectionism that makes the difference in every line of code.
For us, work is a continuous challenge: the search for ever more modern and reliable solutions. That means constant study, professional development and the courage to question ourselves every day. Resting on our laurels is not our thing.
But Karma is not just code and features. It’s a way of working. We believe software should be as honest as the people who sell it. No inflated promises, no phantom features in the price list, no unfair contracts. If something doesn’t work, we fix it. If a customer needs us, we answer. Period.
We believe true success isn’t measured only in revenue, but in the relationships you build along the way. Every customer who chooses us becomes part of something bigger: a community of professionals who want to work better, not harder.
This is the karma we believe in: a virtuous circle where expertise meets humanity, and where every challenge faced together becomes the springboard for the next.
Because things done with passion and integrity always come back. Always.
And who is this?
This is Marley, our life coach. No certifications, no online courses, zero slides: just plenty of field experience and a CV made of walks, kibble and looks worth more than a thousand meetings.
He’s been with us since day zero, when Karma Software opened its doors in 2016, and he has never stopped reminding us of his first commandment: if you want the bone, you have to earn it.
The second, equally essential, he applies with scientific rigour several times a day: no problem is so insurmountable that it can’t be solved after a good nap. An unorthodox approach, you say? It’s been working for almost ten years.
